FAMINE IN THE LAND

Famine in the land

Prophetic word for 2018 & 2019 & 2020…..

Expect a huge shift in 2018, 2019 and beyond.  It’s going to be a season of suddenlies – job promotions, increased favor in all spheres with new mantles available for those who dare to take risks.  It’s going to be a year of breakthrough and triple anointings due to a new alignment between earth and the heavenly realm. It will be crucial in this new season to align yourself under active portals or you will miss out on what God is doing. A new breed who host the presence and live under an open heaven will bring heaven to earth. The Leviathan, sneaky squid, Jezebel and poverty spirits will disperse as this new breed of small gods usher in the kingdom. The seven spheres of society will be conquered by believers as God uses people of influence to take back what the devil has stolen.  A fresh outpouring, unquenchable fire (at last) and unstoppable revival will engulf the earth and cause whole nations to become Christians.

This is the kind of garbage that dupes millions of itching ears in the visible church. This “Christian” version of a horoscope is repeated year after year, as the word of God is sidelined and carnal natures are appeased.  Of course, nothing really changes within the visible church, apart from increasing deception and apostasy.  The good news is that we do indeed have a prophetic word but it is not from Shawn Bolz, Patricia King, Bill Johnson, Kris Vallotton, Lance Wallnau, Jennifer LeClaire, Cindy Jacobs, Heidi Baker, Rick Joyner, Jonathan Cahn or any other New Apostolic Reformation false prophet.  The only accurate prophetic word you need for 2020 is quite a long read.  It is from God, it’s infallible, trustworthy and it’s the only prophetic word you really need.  It is called scripture. The reason why it’s “not working” or “not sufficient” for many is two fold:

  1. Eisegesis – reading one’s own view into the text. This is how NAR/WOF and prosperity teachers are able to deceive their hearers.  Expository teaching or teaching that actually explains the context and proper meaning of a text is rare.  Many believers are ignorant of what the word of God actually teaches.  When scripture does feature in a meeting, chances are it’s being quoted from a perversion such as “The Passion” translation. The original words are literally lost in translation. The context is ignored as proof texts are employed to substantiate the false doctrine being taught.  Eisegesis and narcigesis are the order of the day, and the dumbing down of the sheep has produced a generation of biblically illiterate believers, tossed to and fro by every wind of teaching. The result is that those subjected to poor teaching cannot even compare what is being taught to the word of God, because they don’t actually know what the word of God teaches on a certain subject.
  2. Encounters supersede the truth of God’s word. The angel of light is having a field day, as many in the visible church chase after experiences and encounters.  There are no boundaries.  A pragmatic approach has led to an occult invasion in churches such as Bethel.  Omens, kundalini manifestations and visualization techniques have replaced the operation of the Holy Spirit.  Any spirit will do; if it brings results or helps with accurate “readings” it is welcomed. This addiction to experiences and extra biblical revelations has trampled the word of God underfoot, and grieved the Holy Spirit.  There is an assault on scripture, and the perpetrators are on stages, behind pulpits, widely accepted by the deceived as God’s anointed.
    For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4

What should we expect from 2018, 2019, 2020….and beyond ? If you believe what scripture teaches, then you will know that conditions in the visible church and the world will deteriorate. However, we have a Heavenly Father who will never leave or forsake us, and who is working within us to “will and to work for his good pleasure.”  We have a Father who will discipline us for our own good if needs be, and a Father who will help us in any trial or tribulation that we encounter.  We have a Father who has supplied us with all we need to serve Him. In all circumstances, he will be comforting us and conforming us into the image of his Son. Trust him with your future, and run from false prophets who prophesy from their own deceitful hearts and vain imaginations, they have been around for centuries….

An appalling and horrible thing
    has happened in the land:
 the prophets prophesy falsely,
    and the priests rule at their direction;
my people love to have it so,
    but what will you do when the end comes?

Jeremiah 5 :30-31
